Annual Trip to the Lubavitcher Rebbe for 22 Shevat
Baruch Hashem, the students went again this year to the Lubavitcher Rebbe for 22nd of Shevat, 5777. As always, it was an inspirational journey. There were so many beautiful tefilos in 770. (Of course, there were seminary interviews.) There was an inspiring Friday night meal and farbrengen with Beis Chaya Mushka, focusing on the Rebbetzin as the ultimate wife we can all model ourselves after. Motzei Shabbos we joined Nishei and Bnos Chabad for an elaborate melava Malka gathering. The girls were emotionally moved by a shlucha who shared her journey of infertility, adoption of 4 children and experiencing the hand of Hashem with each child. As one girl related, “I was so happy to be by the Lubavitcher Rebbe. It felt like home. I didn’t want to come back. But coming back is also home.”
